In addition to the conventional hunting/ sporting clay target disciplines such as Trap Turbulence, Trap Olympic Trench, Double Trap and Skeet, we offer an almost inexhaustible variety of clay targets in different sizes, speeds and levels of difficulty in other dynamic areas. A special hunting course with “Grouse Butts” and “High Pheasant” as well as course shooting in the “Gamewalk” bring a piece of english shotgun tradition to the Eifel. With around 100 throwing machines and more than 2 million targets to be thrown each year, we are not so much a shooting range as the place to perfect your shotgun technique.

TARGET WORLD offers you the space and opportunity to shoot with a rifle to promote hunting in line with the principles of animal welfare. In target shooting you aim at a ring target or game target from various distances. You can perfect the dynamic bullet shot on fleeting game either on the “Running Boar” or in our shooting cinema. Real film sequences on different game in varying degrees of difficulty practise intuitive and selective shooting. The distance to the screen is around 35 meters.
Training
Improve your skills with our professional trainers
By practising with a trainer, you can master all shooting disciplines safely as a novice. Experienced hunters and shooters will improve their existing skills, as our trainers will also spot small mistakes that you might never have noticed. As a beginner, you will know the do’s and don’ts when handling weapons after our safety instruction.
You will also learn basic skills such as loading, unloading and aiming. Our experienced instructors will give you tips on optimum posture and breathing so that your shots hit the target! They will be at your side and give you tips so that you don’t overshoot the target, but instead land one hit after another.

The TARGET WORLD Hunting Competence and Shooting Centre in Landscheid with hunting school, shooting ranges, store, lodge, restaurant, seminars, conferences and events was funded by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund and the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
